Back in 2015, I was working at an entertainment paper and got a small venue concert announcement for Nick Waterhouse. He was a groovy-looking dude, so I had to look up his sound, and this was the first thing I heard:

I immediately got tickets to his show in an upstairs nightclub setting with about 300 other music lovers. I’ve been hooked on his vibe and sounds ever since. The venue is long gone, but LA-based singer and guitarist Nick Waterhouse is still around, cranking out some great old school R&B, bluesy, jazzy sounds.
