Just sit back and start clicking. This is all about entertainment. We may accidentally make a point along the way, but the intention is to entertain. Here we have some fun ‘what ifs’. Mainly, what if Star Wars and few other titles were filmed in the 1950’s and in Panavision. Someone had an AI generate some images and mockups of trailers and it’s fun to look at. That’s it. It’s fun to look at. That’s where it starts. Then you start thinking: “I’d like to see that! That movie looks interesting.” I think that’s because we’re just seeing something new. That’s where it gets kind of depressing. We are so used to be fed standard issue visuals for the majority of movies, (yes there are exceptions, relax) that when we see a 50’s Panavision take and new visuals it leaps of the screen.
