I’ll cut to the chase. The trailer for Joker: Folie A Deux looks incredible. Just incredible. Now, I was a huge fan of the first Joker movie. So, I’m already on board. That one was fantastic. A movie about a fictional character that didn’t hate the source material. Is that so hard to do? No. While it’s true that Joker came from comics, all you need to do is take the subject seriously and look what you get? A great movie. I am oversimplifying, but hopefully you get the point. Now to the trailer for Joker 2.

Just look at the shots they picked! The camera work. It’s cinema. Artistic choices have been made and they made some really good ones. Hat tip to the inspired decision to make Joker: Folie A Deux a musical. Couldn’t love that choice anymore if I tried. This trailer has me ready to go back to the movies. Joker 2 hit’s theaters on October 4th.
