There’s a lot to sift through here so, bear with me. Last night RFK Jr. endorsed Trump for president. That’s a big one. You could call that a seismic shift in American politics and you wouldn’t be overstating anything. A Kennedy joining team Trump and the GOP. At least the GOP as it looks now. You feel me? This isn’t Maria Schriver joining Jeb Bush, because something like that would never happen.

So why would RFK endorse Trump? Well, right out of the gate, I’d think because the GOP isn’t the old school GOP. That’s for starters. Trump came in like a 3rd party bull in a China shop full of establishment GOP that was grossly out of touch with the real issues Americans are facing. All Americans. Not Left or Right. ALL of us. Things have gone off the rails in America. It’s been bad for a very long time and Trump came along in 2016 and appeared to understand just how bad shit was. So, there’s that.

Simply put, our country had been slipping away and we finally got someone to listen. That’s why in my opinion RFK Jr. endorsed Trump. Things in America have gotten so bad that what used to be a card-carrying Dem. now has more in common with a common-sense political leader like Trump. And let’s not forget that Trump didn’t want to get into politics. He consistently said for decades he’d only get in if things in America looked bad. Like, really bad.

There you have it. Thing in America have reached such a poor state of affairs that RFK Jr. endorsed Trump. That’s big.

Here’s more insight. Also worth noting: This could mean a sea change in American politics. RFK will still be on the ballot in some states. If he does well enough, that could make a 3rd party a very real possibility in 2028. There is so much of an upside from Trump and RFK Jr. we’re still sifting through it all.
