This week in the face of high gas prices, uncontrolled immigration and declining quality of life, California Governor, Gavin Newsom decided to tackle … wait for it … memes.
If you’re not familiar with the “Streisand Effect”, it’s that thing of when a famous or powerful person says. “don’t do this thing” and it makes everyone do this thing.
Well, Newsom’s threat to not do fakey memes was the thing and this was the effect.
