We’ll try to keep this a spoiler free as we can. It’ll be difficult but I’ll give it a shot. Here’ the trailer for The Last of Us season 2 on HBO. Looks good, right? Well, try to remember that warm feeling you had when you saw the news that the next chapter in the Ellie and Joel story was on the way. You’ll have something to hang on to as you rage quit this bait and switch show.
You see, all the gamers know what’s going to happen. We played The Last of Us 2 already. And it was over the top bad. Not the gameplay. Not the art direction. It was the story itself. For me? It made the game unplayable. It was that awful. Of course everyone who didn’t like the game was accused of being a horrible person and of ‘review bombing’. (that’s a huge tell, right there. Once they start talking about review bombing? You know it’s crap) So, if you liked season one of The Last of Us, just know we’ll be here waiting for you after you watch season 2. We don’t know the exact timing of how they’ll do it in the show, but just know we’re here for ya.
