As we were talking about on the latest episode of The Loftus Party podcast, Toyota has gone woke. Yup. Several reporters and independent outlets have done the research, and it looks like, Toyota is the latest huge company to embrace whatever you want to call it. ESG, DEI, Woke. And they’re waiting to see how bad things will get before they make their next move.
What needs to be discussed is how all of this news of Toyota going ‘Woke’ comes long after Bud Light and Disney have taken such massive hits with their stock value. Even though other giant companies have been hurt financially, Toyota has gone down the same Woke path. That is the disturbing part. The woke agenda must be so financially beneficial, that they just don’t care if their customers aren’t happy. They must think they can weather the fallout.
What will it take to make companies like Toyota to stop with the woke agenda? Failure. Financial failure. Until that happens? We’re going to be reading more headlines about giant companies that insert political agendas into their business model.
Here’s more on Toyota getting woke.

This is the email I sent the Toyota Executives
to edward.hellwig, marissa.borjon, victor.vanov,
I thought what Bud Lite did was bad but you put them to shame.
You know the old saying that if you make a customer happy they may tell two to three people, but if you make them mad they will tell the whole world.
Guess what I’m doing.
In the words of Pink Floyd…. “Leave our kids alone”
I’m going to trade in my Toyota tomorrow before the word gets out and the trade in value tanks.
A very unhappy Toyota owner.
