Here’s a bit of good news. We have the trailer for season 2 of Netflix’s Arcane! Let’s watch that and jump into some insight about the state of affairs with Hollywood and the entertainment business.
Okay, I’m gonna be watching Arcane. I enjoyed season one and I want to see how the story wraps up. Now, was that so hard? I’m speaking to the development and production executives in Hollywood now. Arcane is a good show. I’m kinda bummed that this is the final season. The characters are well thought out and have good development arcs. Two sisters on very different paths. I dig it. I don’t feel like l was cheated or asked to make any bizarre leaps of logic. The show makes sense. I like it. Was that so hard?
Tip of the cap to the showrunners and writers who gave us a show that made sense and was also visually interesting! I’m a sucker for steampunk too so nice job all the way around. Now maybe you could make the argument that because Arcane is based off the game League of Legends, that Riot games was just fiercely defensive of their IP. Perhaps you’d be right. Hopefully there will be some defense of property for Star Wars and Marvel etc in the near future.
Arcane is proof that you just need to tell a good story with well thought out characters and dynamics. No one cares much about anything else. Just tell good stories and the audience will show up. Season two of Arcane hits Netflix November 9th.
