What in the world is going on with these stats recently? It seems like on the day the headlines are sunny and bright, only to be followed a few days later with the actual numbers that aren’t so wonderful. Hmmm it’s a perplexing phenomenon indeed. Now it would seem the FBI made a little oopsie in their crime data and have quietly revised the report to show a big rise in violent crime. What a strange turn of events.
According to the FBI, crime increased by 4.5% in 2022 instead of dropping 2.1%. Maybe someone could alert the media…
So, this is a problem to say the least. This is a pattern from permanent Washington. Some agency releases a glowing report with glorious numbers for powers that be, only to have the real numbers tell a much different story. And it’s not like the FBI held a press conference about the revised crime data. This was a very ‘quiet’ revision.
This isn’t a goof look for the FBI. I guess we can add ‘cooking the books’ to the list of black eyes for the once trusted agency. FISA abuse, Spying, Entrapment and now ‘revising’ crime statistics. One could almost believe they are playing favorites. And that would be a bad thing, indeed. Not sure America would want a biased law enforcement agency around. Nope an agency like that would certainly need to be disbanded.
