We thought it would be a fun experiment to compare and contrast two October surprises. Now, traditionally an October surprise is new story or piece of information that is incredibly damning for your political opponent. We’re all supposed to pretend it’s a surprise and not something one side has been planning to release for ages for maximum effect.

What happens after the October surprise is that the media either jumps on board to amplify the story or they try to make it all go away. That’s what we’ll be talking about today. Two very different reactions to two very different October surprises. Then you, dear reader can reach your own conclusions.

Let’s start with yesterday’s big surprise. The left was warning America about Trump and Hitler. There is a new book out and looks like someone just remembered after years and years that Trump was like Hitler. Surprise! Unfortunately, America had heard this one a lot… for decades every conservative candidate was the next Hitler.

So, when this is the tactic for decades, the surprise is kinda, meh.

Now let’s flashback to an October Surprise that had some serious surprise to it: The Biden Laptop. This story had it all and it had proof of crimes. Emails, videos, voice mails, bribery, scandal. The Biden Laptop October Surprise had it all.

And there was more than one laptop!

The Biden laptop story was attacked and suppressed from every quarter, social media banned or suppressed the story. The media didn’t report on it. NPR said it was a waste of time, practically. The Intelligence community even drafted a letter to try and kill interest in the laptop story. But the laptop was very, very real. Suprise!

That seems to be the big difference between these two October surprises. One is a tired smear invoking the name of Hitler. And the other one is the surprise of just how far the media, big tech and the intelligence community want to maintain control. Surprise!
