Sunday Jams with Alabama Shakes. Now I don’t want to jinx anything, or get anyone’s hope up, but there’s some good news on the Alabama Shakes front. The band just did a surprise reunion show in Tuscaloosa, Dec. 18th. Now does that mean the band is back at it? Or does it mean that everyone found themselves home for the holidays and said: Sure. I’ll do a show. It beats the snot out of hanging out with my drunk cousin. Who knows? I’m hoping for more music from the Shakes. I’ll be very straight forward about it. Get back together. Get back in the studio and then? Get on the road for some live dates. Until then, here’s Alabama Shakes on Sunday Jams. (If you can’t groove to this, please call your doctor.
