Wow! That’s an impressive start for Monster Hunter Wilds. The game already has a million players. Did I mention it just came out this morning? Yeah.

Here at TLP gaming we have our crack team jumping into Monster Hunter Wilds later this afternoon. Schedules have been cleared. Hours and hours have been set aside for MHW. It’s a whole thing.

So, what is it about Monster Hunter Wilds? Well, first of all the franchise is already successful and who doesn’t love a new game in series that you already dig? Also, MHW isn’t tethered to Western Studios. Asian games just still know how to do games. They aren’t going for the new school of gaming failure.

It’s gaming for the love of the game. That is always going to win. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: People don’t want games to reflect the world we live in. People game because it isn’t the world we live in.
