Let’s not kid ourselves, this week has been amazing. Working backwards, Zelenskyy was probably put up to creating a controversy by picking a fight with Trump over support. The world-wide coordinated “outrage” seemed as authentic as a Milli Vanilli performance (look it up kids).
You need to see the entire 50 minute recording to get the context of the last combative 10 minutes. Or, you can just savor the memes and get the gist.
In other news, the Trump administration made the stupid move of adopting the two stupid moves of the Biden years: use vapid social media influencers and do an Adam Schiff-style “I have evidence of Russian collusion” nothingburger stunts. Yep, they were gonna release the Epstein Files and blow the lid off of the darkest secrets of the elite.
Turns out, like the Al Capone Vault stunt (again, look it up, kids), it was a huge hype followed by a huge letdown.
The right-wing social media influencers were left looking pretty foolish.
JIn other news, Joy Reid lost her MSNBC job the same week that Hooters announced it’s going into bankruptcy. They’re probably unrelated incidents, but…
