Here’s a clip to kind of renew your faith in humanity. Jon Stewart having a moment of clarity about DOGE, Red Tape and Big Government. Here’s Jon interviewing Ezra Klein about the Biden administrations 42-billion-dollar broadband plan that so far hasn’t connected anyone. It’s a great clip as it pretty much encapsulates the big government experience. Lots of money and time wasted for a project that has a name that speaks to good intentions. The idea of broadband internet is appealing. Now enters the blob with its red tape and feeding frenzy over $42 billion dollars and you get a cluster fuck of waste, fraud and abuse that is typical for this kind of thing. It’s almost like you need a dept of government efficiency or DOGE to come in and clean it all up.
Kudos to Jon Stewart and Ezra Klein. This felt like an honest look at some legit BS from Big Government. This is second time Stewart has had a moment of clarity. He took a lot of grief for his Wuhan observations on the late show. Here’s one of the best DOGE ads we’ve seen. It’s just honesty. That’s it.
