Here we go! It’s the anniversary of the man of steel. On this day back in 1938 the world was introduced to Superman in Action Comics number 1. Good times. Now after comics, cartoons and a slew of movies and TV projects, we just call today, Superman Day. As the internet loads up on Superman content, we thought we’d highlight some of our Superman favorites. Here’s the best of Superman Day 2025.

Let’s take a moment to recognize Chris Reeves and arguably the best Superman Movie. The Richard Donner film from the 1070’s. Donner loved the Superman character, and it showed. Reeves was perfect. Great stuff. Movie magic.

If you haven’t seen the Superman Animated series? You’re missing it. Maybe the best Superman adaptation ever. Not even close. Unless by some miracle we get another Max Fleischer cartoon.

And finally, we have our fingers crossed for the new James Gunn Superman project. If you like Superman you’re ready for a winning movie. We’ve had a lot of close but no cigars. Am ready to have a good time at the movies. Hope you have a great Superman Day.
