Big news in the world of entertainment! The Amazing World of Gumball is coming back! This time on Disney+ and Hulu, but that’s kind of secondary to the bigger story that the show is actually returning! That’s a very rare thing in Hollywood and it legit makes me happy for everyone involved with Gumball!

Here’s the typical life cycle of a TV show: You get a pilot ep. Huzzah! If the show goes to series? Huzzah! Now you’re on the air! Huzzah! This goes on for a couple years, then the show gets cancelled. Boo. Then you hear rumors that the showrunners are looking for a new home for the show. You kind of get your hopes up for a little bit, but nothing ever happens, and you move on with your life.

However, every once in a while, a show comes back from the dead. Family Guy is a great example. Now? The Amazing World of Gumball is back. Huzzah! Sure, they’re calling it The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, but that doesn’t matter. It’s Gumball. It’s back.

Something you should know about Gumball. It’s really funny. We should make the most of this second go round because the show is legit funny. Like, laugh out loud funny. And visually? Quite cool. It’s a visual hodge podge of styles that makes it weird and fun. I’m a fan.
