Right out of the gate I’d like you to know a few things. No, I’ve never watched a single episode of Dr. Who. Yes, I’m a sci-fi fan but I’ve never watched Dr. Who. Also, I’ve written on several TV shows. I’ve also written feature films and a novel. Thank you very much for supporting that endeavor. So, as I begin to have some fun with the latest twist for Dr. Who fans, just know that I’m not a complete buffoon.

Dear, Dr Who fans, it would appear that the showrunners and the network (BBC?) hate you. They genuinely do not like you nor do they feel you are important to the show’s future. That is why they keep dishing out more of the same garbage. For people like me, it’s more entertaining to watch the implosion of the once beloved franchise.

It would appear that Dr. Who has jumped from the woke frying pan into the woke fire. What is wrong with the showrunners?

Answer: They do not like you or the show! It’s a paycheck where they are paid to preach under the guise of “Dr. Who”. The show is the cheeseburger that hides the message. Sadly, it looks like they’ve forgotten to have enough cheeseburger.

And let be very clear. It’s not the actor’s fault. It is almost never the actors fault. They are paid to say things and pretend to feel something as they say the things. Things that were written for them… by people who don’t seem to like the show they’re writing on. HA!

As a former TV writer, I can tell you sincerely that the problems are all in the writer’s room and coming from producers that greenlight stories. That’s it. It is all the writers and producer fault. They are either incompetent or they have an agenda. Sometimes it’s both and then you are truly fucked. Ask yourself why Andor was good, but The Acolyte sucked? The writing. Tony Gilroy writes characters and story that make sense, while others write woke fan fiction. Boom. End of story.

Again: It’s not the actor’s fault. This kid seems fine. He can memorize lines and play make believe. I wish him nothing but the best.

I don’t know who this guy is, but he seems upset with some people.

Here’s the only question for actual Dr. Who fans (if there’s any left) are you going to stick it out and remain with the show? Or are you moving on to greener pastures? And please let me know where those pastures are! It’s a bad time to be a sci-fi/fantasy fan. These morons are killing every franchise they touch!

Wheel of Time was a trainwreck. Rings of Power is a trainwreck. HBO is putting Harry Potter back on the tracks for a trainwreck. Don’t get me started on Star Wars (Andor was fantastic) and Disney. Oof. And the Marvel universe is a joke. So, where do we go?
