Welcome to my Witcher 4 reaction post! Where I’ll share my kneejerk reaction to the Witcher 4 game. And just know that I’m a big fan of the books. I truly enjoyed the source material. Okay, with that out of the way, let’s begin! There’s a lot to be impressed with, but the answer is still no on Witcher 4. I’ll explain.

The graphics are insane. Witcher 4 looks incredible.

And honestly, Ciri looks pretty good as well. Not how I imagined her, but I’m not complaining. She looks good!

So, will I be playing Witcher 4? Nope. I have no interest in playing as Ciri. None whatsoever. We can talk about what Ciri wants in the books and her powers until the cows come home. It doesn’t matter. Geralt is the Witcher. It’s his game. That’s just how I see it. Now if you wanted to do a Ciri spinoff? Good luck! But as for me? I have no interest in running around as Ciri killing monsters. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

It’s another sad day for the Witcher franchise. This game is going to lose a lot of money. Hopefully they can hang on long enough to make a Witcher 5. With Geralt. Give the people what they want. It’s nice they redesigned Ciri but go ahead and just give us a Witcher game… with Geralt.

You see, the Witcher has a character in Ciri. But the books, the game and all of it is about Geralt’s journey. When you start twisting that? People walk away from all of it. Just like viewers of the show and Henry Cavill. They walk away.
