Credit where credit is due. Elon Musk and his team just opened a Tesla Diner (and super-charging center) in LA. It’s a great idea. A retro-futuristic diner with drive in movie stuff and some diner style food? Come on! You need to charge your Tesla anyway. Might as well have a good time! The idea is right. And boy, howdy do I hope it lasts. It would be fantastic to have these open across the country. Am I full of doubt? Yeah. It’s a bummer, but I am. The Tesla Diner looks cool AF.

Now, with that being said, I have way more faith in Telsa than I do with the American public in general. That’s my nice way of saying “bad people will fuck this up, fast”. So, enjoy it now. If you live in LA and you can make it to the Tesla diner? Go for it. Enjoy it now. I doubt these will be popping up everywhere across the country. It’s a sweet idea! This Tesla diner is a glimpse into the future we could have! It could be nice!

My guess is that certain elements of the public will be stealing everything that isnt’ bolted down so fast it’ll make your head spin. And lots of stuff that IS bolted down. Copper wiring is hard to keep in stock these days. Just saying.

I sincerely hope I’m wrong. It would be fantastic if these Telsa Diners were all across the country. This is the future that we want. Bring on more stuff like the Tesla Diner! Just hire a ton of security. You’re going to need it.
