Trump’s Tariffs are bringing in billions. So, what happens with that money?

Let’s keep this in some super simple terms because frankly, I’m no economist. The Trump administration is going full steam ahead with tariffs. Fine. Some people are calling it a disaster and saying it only effects American consumers. Okay. They can say that. Have you seen a difference in your grocery bill? Me neither. Shit has been outrageous for years now. So… blah to that point. I don’t see anything changing any time soon.

We’re told that billions are being raised though. What happens to that money? Will American taxpayers get a rebate? Doubtful. Will there be an end to property tax? Or will the government just keep all the money and continue to spend like drunken sailors? I know what I think will happen, but let’s see.

Here’s some takes on the tariffs and what we could be looking at.

Notable note here:

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but all of this seems to be missing the big issue: We spend too much money. Yay hooray for new revenue, but it’s all for naught if we don’t shrink our bloated Gov.

The Tariffs brought in 29 billion in July. Stacy Abrams got the green light to spend 2 billion on refrigerators from Biden not too long ago. So, we may all want to cool our jets.
