The internet is buzzing with the news of radio host Howard Stern getting cancelled from XM radio. I don’t know if is show will keep going through the end of his contract or not. Frankly, I don’t care. And I’ve never cared. This dude one the radio lottery in my opinion. Howard made a ton of money and now he’s gone. From shock jock to woke interviewer it was an incredibly long career. Now it’s come to an end. Meh.
Was he cancelled for being ‘woke’? Or was it because the radio audience is gone? Don’t know. Don’t care. Never have. I never ‘got’ the whole Howard Stern thing. So, long guy. It was a long run, Now we’re going to post some reactions from the internet, just for laughs.
I’ll confess to being a tepid, ever so slightly casual listener of Stern back in the late 90s but anyone who spent any time with his show from back in that era knows how pathetically bad things turned when he hit the 2000s. Fame, money, a hot wife, an exposed lack of talent and his Texas sized ego were most assuredly going to be his demise. I’m actually surprised that it (his time on air) lasted this long. So we should bid farewell to this self inflated douchebag and caution Sirius XM not to overpay for the rights to his shit show archives the way they did his early contracts. It’s rather sad that someone that had such a long run will primarily be remembered for his final years of utter oral vomit.
Really great comment! I agree! I had friends who would listen to Stern and they loved it. Back in the day. I just always felt the guy was a liar. HA! He’d always have these hotties on and talk about “Oh, if I wasn’t married… the things I’d do..” Bullshit. Dude used his wife as an excuse. The instant he got divorced? He went straight to old school interviews. LOL! He had a good long run. Hope he saved his money.
