That SHOULD be hot. It’s Taylor Swift! Dressed as a Vegas Showgirl with her finger seductively in her mouth. I want to really like this pic! Somehow, I get the feeling she’s getting bubble gum off her finger, though. What’s the issue here? Why isn’t this way hotter?

Come on! By every metric this should be a killer photo! Is it the pose? Why isn’t this a fireball of sex appeal? It should be!

Here’s what I think is going on here. I just had to think it through. It’s all too presentational. These photos are this: Taylor Swift as sexy showgirl! The issue is we know she not this. Taylor Swift is a very talented young lady. She’s super attractive. She’s not a sexy showgirl though. That’s why it doesn’t work as well as it should. Team Taylor is trying to hit a gear that just isn’t there. Horny. Taylor Swift is a lot of things but horny isn’t one of them. That’s it. End of story.
