I don’t know about you, but I can’t stop thinking about viral video of the Scottish girl who just shamed almost all of Europe. If you haven’t seen the clip of this young girl, ready to defend herself and her sister, here is it.

I can’t get the image out of my mind. It’s one on a girl who has ZERO faith in the authorities. None. It’s a picture of a girl who has come to the conclusion that her best hope is herself. She’s a kid. This is a shameful part. Where are the adults? Where are the people who know right from wrong? Europe. You simply have to wake up. There is no pot of gold at the end of the path you’re on.

I just don’t know how much more the good people of the UK can take. There has to be a breaking point, yes? Putting up flag is a good start. But damn.

Maybe the image of the Scottish girl will be the moment things start to get better. Maybe this will be a turning point for Europe. When a girl feels as if she needs this kind of weaponry because she’s lost faith in the system, it’s time to rethink the system. It’s time for change.
