Yesterday’s test flight of Starship was huge win for everyone over at SpaceX and all of us space exploration rocket fans. That’s right, I almost said rocket nerds. Rocket fans is probably a more accurate term. And for the record, you other fans might want to start cheering a little louder in the back, because things are really looking up for the whole “Starship can get us to Mars” crew. The latest test flight of Starship looks like a big win!

There are always tons of things to learn when you’re launching the equivalent of a small skyscraper and as an added bonus it was another spectacular launch! This one had tons of bonus material as well. Heat shields, small explosions, reentry nail-biting adventure and payload deployment to boot. Tons of incredibly cool stuff.

The moments after this were a bit tense. They are certainly going to figure out what happened here…

Everything they’re doing over at SpaceX and with Starship is terribly exciting. The idea of actually getting humanity to other planets is everything. And bonus? This isn’t some giant taxpayer funded scam. This is Elon Musk, his company and the ship is showing some real promise. Let’s go!
