Now here we are again. Charlie Kirk has been assassinated, and the talk today is (once again) about toning down the rhetoric. They want the rhetoric toned down after the shooting of Steve Scalise and his GOP teammates. They want the rhetoric toned down after the assassination attempts on Trump!

They want the rhetoric toned down now! The list goes on and on! Did they ask for the rhetoric to be toned down after the Lincoln assassination? I’m guessing they did. That’s how it goes. The Left demonizes their opponents, someone on the Right get killed or hurt and then we’re all supposed to tone it down. There’s just one problem: Our guy is dead. Charlie Kirk is dead. He was assassinated. You have introduced fear of violence into the equation.
The Left has silenced Charlie Kirk. And they’ve given every other right leaning person legitimate cause for concern for their own safety. Again and again, we see this cycle. And now we’re supposed to tone down the rhetoric for the sake of political discourse.

Every Republican President has been called Hitler. Since Reagan. They shot him too! Then George Bush was Hitler, then his son, Bush 2 was Hitler. They tried to blow him up with a grenade. Then Mitt Romney was Hitler in mom jeans. Then it took a turn with Trump. Then not only was he Hitler, it was ‘okay to punch a nazi’. There have been multiple attempts to kill Trump. Kathy Griffin’s infamous picture of the bloody severed head was a real humdinger.

So, if you’re playing along at home, the left can call for violence, then violence happens. After they go ahead with the violence, we’re all supposed to tone down the rhetoric. And when it comes to riots? When the left riots and burns down cities? We’re all supposed to ask: Why are the rioters upset? Why? Do they feel unheard? Conversely, when the Right storms the capitol? Jail. No conversation about why. Jail.
The mainstream media only goes one way. The bullets only seem to be flying one way. The violence seems to be going one way. IF you wear a MAGA hat, you expect violence. You are prepared for violence if you wear a hat! And we’re supposed to tone it down? No.
People are celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk and posting it for clicks on social media and we’re supposed to tone it down? No. Your best bet to ‘tone things down’ was Charlie Kirk and you killed him.
