Take a look at the trailer for The Witcher, season 4 on Netflix and tell me what you see. You know what? I can’t wait that long. I’ll tell you what you’re looking at with this trailer right now: You are watching the equivalent of ‘bait and switch’ or in the best-case scenario ‘too little, too late’. The whole trailer is Geralt, now played by a new dude after Cavill woke up and realized this show was lost cause, doing the Witcher shit the fans wanted to see the whole time! Does Netflix think they can just sling out a Geralt heavy trailer for Witcher season 4 and we’ll all come back? Sorry, it doesn’t work like that.
Nope. To the Netflix execs who thought this would work: nice try. I honestly appreciate the effort. But we’ve been down this road before with The Witcher. We get a couple episodes of something that is kind of like the books, then it becomes a completely different show altogether and Geralt is left hanging out in the background. So, thanks for the Geralt heavy trailer, but The Witcher ship has sailed.
The Witcher season 4 resumes disappointing fans of adaptations and celebrating poor writing on Netflix Oct. 30th. Geralt is played by Liam Hemsworth. We have no beef with that guy. The dude is just trying to pay the bills. Good luck, man.
