There’s a new song from Zach Bryan that has some people upset and perfectly legit. Here’s a couple things to consider before you go flying off the handle. One: The song ‘Bad News’ was leaked evidently. I’m guess that Zach realized what the reaction to lines like “Ice is going to come. Bust down your door” and ‘Fading of the red, white and blue” would be. So, there’s that. I had a bit of different reaction to the snippet of the song. Here’s the clip I was able to find.

So, here’s my 2 cents on Zach Bryan’s song ‘Bad News’. And it will probably come as bad news to a lot of folks. This generation behind us is pissed off and probably thinking they are at the end of their rope. Oh! They also seem hip the system being rigged against them. ‘Bad News’ (at least this snippet) sounds angry and almost hopeless. Listen to the lyrics.

Did you all forget about Rich men north of Richmond?

Here’s how I see it. There’s a generation (or two!) who are mad as hell at the system. The wages are shit. The cost of living keeps going up. Rent prices are through the roof. If you took out a student loan to get a worthless college degree, you can look forward to a life of indentured servitude.

The cost of a house is insane, and crime is everywhere. You can work your ass off and play by the rules, to get crushed by taxes. The police are right there to fine you for parking wrong but everyone else is leaving Target with stolen shit and no consequences. What is the upside? It’s both depressing and maddening at the same time. Sorry. Thems the apples. That’s where songs like ‘Bad News’ and ‘Rich men north of Richmond’ come from. These songs are canaries in the coal mine, so to speak.

And don’t think this hopeless anger vibe is limited to flyover states. Maybe take a peek at the New York Mayoral race. A Socialist is in the lead. How did that happen? Shit got SO bad that, for younger people, Socialism sounds like it’s worth a try. That’s fucked up for sure. But here we are. Bernie Sanders is popular. Dude had 2 shots at being the nominee for the Dems. Holy shit man!

America needs to recalibrate and fast. Get back to basics. End the failed experiment that is the Federal Reserve and their BS notion of controlled inflation. Thing have gotten steadily worse since the Federal Reserve fired up. And ironically, for Zach Bryan, ICE is going to need to kick down a bunch more doors. Some people estimate that there’s close to 90 million illegals living in the US. How many jobs open up when 90 million people go home? How many houses become available. How much farther does the working man’s pay go? Taxes… all of it.

There has been a slow boil of frustration in America for decades. It’s generational. We’re at our breaking point. Something needs to happen fast. If legit change doesn’t come? Get ready for a wave of kids who want socialism. Don’t get mad at Zach Bryan for his song. He told you it was ‘Bad news’. The good part? We can still do something about it.
