People say there’s no good new music. I disagree. Let me tell you about my favorite tongue-in-cheek Swedish 70s homage band, Royal Republic.

They first captured my heart a few years ago with the ultimate 70s song written in 2016 – Kung Fu Lovin’. I’m roughly 98% sure that Carl Douglas’ iconic Kung Fu Fighting inspired the song.

The lyric, “you’re a roundhouse kick to my heart” makes it worth every cent!
