Well, it’s government shutdown day number 22 and it doesn’t look like any real change has occurred. Other than some politicians are being abundantly clear that this is all about leverage. So, the big takeaway and healthy reminder is: The Government does not care about you. They never did.

This is really a good thing. Of course, we want the men and women who defend the country to get paid. But beyond the defense of the country, what else do we really need the federal government for? Huh? Let’s start asking that question a whole lot more!

The government has been shut down for 3 weeks. Have you seen a difference? Honestly. That’s the big takeaway.

I love this whole shutdown thing. It’s a glorious reminder of just how much stuff we’re paying for as taxpayers that we don’t need! And it’s also curious that the gov. is supposedly shut down yet they still collect our taxes. Hmmm. Do we get credits? Are we banking a crap load of extra money during this shutdown?

Let’s keep this downturn in Gov spending going down, down, down.
