Let’s talk just for a bit about a game that normally would have had me super excited, The Outer Worlds 2. There’s plenty to be jazzed about. The look, the vibe and the massive amounts of fun that come from an Outer Worlds game. I’ll save us all a lot of heartache by getting straight to the point.

The Outer Worlds 2 looks great. Here at TLP Gaming, we’re going to pass. For now. I’ll tell you why.

The price. Yup. That’s a deal breaker when we ask, “To play, or not to play?” The cost of The Outer Worlds 2 is nowhere near a deal. $70 to $100 bucks? Nope. Hard pass.

The game launches on October 29, 2025 (with Premium Edition early access starting October 24), for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at $69.99 standard / $99.99 Premium (which includes DLC and early access).
