Not gonna lie, friends. This week has been kind of a memes-bust. It’s never a slow news week in 2025 America, but maybe it just isn’t that funny?
Here’s what we’re going to do – make it a big grab bag and try to eke out a little bit of current memes. Please supplement your weekly TWIM in take with our own Serena’s retro meme roundup. Back then, the were called “viral videos”. How quaint.
Democrats are at it again. Guessing they’re setting up for a big midterms win and resuming Impeachment Circus. The Epstein files is a lit stick of dynamite that would blow up in the face of both parties. But super smart Dems think they can cherry-pick out the parts that incriminate Trump without smearing their side.
The Sydney Sweeney interview is already in the distant past but we have a late entry since the Democrats are dumping on their own Senator Fetterman.
Democrat Graham Platner is running for Senate in New Hampshire. Usually discovering a candidate had neo-Nazi sympathies would be a show stopper, but get this, he’s a Democrat, so it’s cool.
Mamdani economics.
Caution: Dad Jokes ahead. Groan.
This is a “thinker” for people of a certain age.
Yeah, we can all relate.
I’ve harvested all I could. Happy now? Honestly, it’s a pleasure bringing these memes fresh to you every week. Until next time!
Gordon, Great job with the memes this week. Yes,it was kind of a slow week and now with the government shutdown ended, the Sombrero Memes are done. Sigh. We enjoyed them for as long as we could.
Now it’s going to be Epstein 24/7 because the Dems are trying to wash away the stink of their failed government shutdown that they knew they were going to lose, but let people suffer anyway. Nothing says failure like redacted, cherry picked conjecture.
You wickledly captured my continued hatred of daylight savings time and the Fetterman interview meme with your hilarious commentary made me laugh out loud. After all of the scrutiny that Hegeseth went through about his tattoos, this Platner guy gets a pass because he’s a Dem and got it when was drunk. Two excellent life choices. New Hampshire’s finest.
Always look forward to TWIM. Thanks for the funny Gordon!
