Charlie Sheen just released a new memoir, The Book of Sheen. And much like the story of his life, his press tour has been off the hook. I caught him on an interview with Tucker Carlson recently. Somewhere towards the end of the interview, Sheen starts to plug his new non-alcoholic beer, Wild AF Cold Gold.
What made this unique is that both he and Tucker no longer drink alcohol. But they can admit they sometimes miss the taste and the social aspect of drinking a beer when out at the pub. As someone who grew up seeing Charlie Sheen in so many favorite movies, I am genuinely happy for the way he’s come out the other side. This particular brew I found to be very hoppy, which typically isn’t my thing. But even at the first crack of the can, the bold aroma is enticing enough to want to take a swig. I’ve had my fair share of non-alcoholic beers over the years. But I also worked with a bunch of guys who brewed their own beer in the office. I would put this brew up there with any craft beer you’d find out at a craft brewery. It’s citrusy and refreshing and perfect for when you want to enjoy a nice cold beer, without any of the blah side effects. And it’s even less calories than say, a Michelob Ultra.
