Here’s our first look at Sophie Turner as Lara Croft for the live action ‘Tomb Raider’ series on Amazon. Loads of people are reacting around the internet and I don’t see why we shouldn’t as well. Okay. I’m going to say the first thing that pops into my mind when I see this picture. Boobs. There. I said it. That is going to be the main complaint about this whole thing. Just being honest. My reaction will get way more adult in mere moments. Keep scrolling.

Now, Sophie Turner is a fine actress and she’s a smoke show as well. I think she’s a great piece of casting for a Lara Croft show. Can she do the action stuff? We shall see. But the more I think about her as Lara? The more I like it! Just be prepared for the ‘boobs’ talk. It will come. Maybe thinly veiled, but the Lara Croft has bigger boobs discussion is coming. Oh well.

If the biggest problem Amazon has with Sophie Turner and Lara Croft is her chest? That’s ultimately a good thing. Let’s hope it’s not horrible writing or bad story telling. Go get em’ Sophie. We’re looking forward to the show. And did I mention Sophie Turner is a smoke show? She is. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Totally forgot about this one! While Sofia Vergara has the Lara Croft physic, I think of her more for comedy. I’m going to stick with my “I support Sophie Turner as Lara Croft’ stance. You want eyeballs on your show. So, you can’t cast an unknown. The studio would lose their minds. Ergo, you cast a ‘big name’. That’s what you get with Sophie Turner. Tada! Good casting.
