I adore Dolly Parton! She is my Country Goddess. There is no other. She has the voice of an angel and her songs are legendary.
She is such a role model and if anyone wants to know what pure talent and perseverance is : Look no further. Coming from such an impoverished childhood to become the one of most famous country performers in the world. I am in awe of her business savvy. She refused to sell her rights to her song “Coat of Many Colors” so Elvis could record it. Dolly and her family are involved in everything from Dollywood to her boxed case mixes. She and I have two things in common (besides being blessed in a certain area) love of family and giving children the gift of reading books by donating them to libraries,schools and kids too. It’s hard to believe this stunning,charitable,talented force of nature is 80 today. Love You Dolly and Happy Birthday!!

Dolly recently ‘postponed’ her scheduled shows here in Vegas. She put out a statement early December about it. Haven’t heard any new dates scheduled.
Not only can she sing, but she can play every instrument, including drums!! Dolly and Barbara Mandrell were a dynamic duo back in the 70s!!
