Now, when I say, ‘They’re getting closer’, I mean the studio execs are getting closer. Closer to the realization that a large part of the audience wants to be entertained. Just entertain people. Not every movie needs a message. Some movies can be about super soldiers battling crazy overpowered machines or creatures. For real. You can take a movie like ‘Predator’ and give it a spit polish and that’s just fine with lots of us. I’m not saying that’s what War Machine is, but I’m saying it’s closer to entertainment. Congrats!
