Welcome to Friday Night Bangers. This week we’re playing some Al Green. Good times! Now, what in the world is ‘Friday Night Bangers’? If you listen to The Loftus Party podcast, you already know but I’ll explain it here as well. It’s February. It’s cold and dark and miserable outside. However, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! People are going to be getting it on. Getting busy. Knocking boots. All that good stuff! But why only on Valentine’s Day? Why do you need a special occasion?

That’s where Friday Night Bangers comes into play. Every Friday in February we’re going to be highlighting a different artist that has some songs that are outstanding music to bang to. Will they all be romantic? Nope. Maybe some. But also, just good songs to have on while you’re getting ready to make the beast with two backs. We don’t care what you do. Just do it with gusto. Right?

So, on week one of Friday Night Bangers we’ll ease into things with some Al Green. It’s a great start. A solid warm up. If you can’t get laid to some Al Green? I feel for ya. Good lord, Al Green! Just so good! It’s a whole different planet! Damn.
