The name of some guy from Michigan, Matthew Shafer, might not be familiar, but those who like some laid back country mixed with rock and blues know Uncle Kracker.

Back in the 90s, he was the DJ for Twisted Brown Trucker, Kid Rock’s back up dudes, but later headed out on his own, and had some great hits, like this one:

His latest album, Coffee and Beer, flew under the radar, but, he’s still out there performing.
