Just know this: Larry David amuses me. Not enough to watch his show on HBO. But he amuses me. This guy is a master of self-sabotage, and I find it incredibly entertaining. And guess what? Larry is at it again. Now saying he is embarrassed to be an American after seeing the UFC event at the White House. And for the record: The UFC night at the white house was epic. Just spectacular.
But let’s get back to Larry. Here’s the clip that has everyone talking today:
Okay, Larry is allowed to feel however he wants to feel. I just find it hilarious that he’s saying this on the red carpet for the premier of his new HBO show. LMAO! Gee, Larry. I wonder if people will pick sides. I wonder if a large portion of America won’t watch. LOL!
There’s a majority of us out here who loved this:
But back to Larry David and his self-sabotage. I don’t think any of this is an accident. Nope. Now Larry has an excuse for when his new show fails. He does it all the time. Larry once did an HBO special about being too scared to deliver and HBO special. Looks like he’s scared of this new show of his too and he’s opted to talk smack and insure we don’t watch. Mission accomplished.
Now comes the part where he tries to turn this event into comedy. When Larry talked smack at SNL it made for a good episode of TV. That’s the formula: Larry David does or says something to crush expectations, then turns that defeat into comedy after a couple years. Okay. Phase one, complete. Now we wait a few years for the comedy.
