There’s a new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey movie and reaction hasn’t been…wonderful, to put it nicely. Let’s take a look and then come back for reaction. That seems fair.
I’ll save my thoughts for another post; this is all about the reaction online. Let’s just say the trailer on YouTube at least has more ‘thumbs down’ than ‘thumbs up’. There are people who can still see those numbers. I can tell you this: I feel no desire to see this in the theater. The Odyssey now joins the ranks of movies to stream when there’s nothing else to watch. Nolan makes good looking movies for sure, and he gets good performances from his cast. His worst movie is better than most films in the theaters. Much like Spielberg. It might not be fantastic, but it’s not going to suck. Like really suck, suck. Those are my two cents. Now let’s check with the internet.
