It looks like we won’t be able to trust crime statistics soon. And who knows? Maybe we should go back a couple decades and check those stats too! There appears to be a wave of ‘accidents’ happening when reporting on the race of crime suspects. The arrest photo clearly shows a Black man or Middle Eastern fellow or Latino and for some odd reason they are listed as White or Caucasian.
It’s a strange one. And it keeps happening over and over in state after state. Now maybe this could just be an oopsie daisy but it just keeps happening. Is the “White” key that close the “Black” key when it comes time to enter a race? This would all be much funnier if it wasn’t so important.
We need to trust data. We need to have a solid foothold in reality. That’s how you learn and improve. If a certain ethnic group is doing a thing we should want to figure out why. Especially when it comes to crime! This has gone from kind of funny and has now steered into deeply disturbing territory. Why mess with all this crime data? What is the upside to these ‘mistakes’? Winning arguments at cocktail parties? It’s bizarre. Check these out. It goes on and on.
