Here’s a bit of a problem for our little ol’ civilization: Crime and no punishment. People who seem to get away with some pretty heinous shit. At least it appears that way. You see post after post on social media about crimes.. proof of crimes… and nothing seems to happen.
The flipside appears to be happening quite a bit too. For a certain class of citizen, they can expect to get the book thrown at them. How long can we go on like this? As a people. As a republic. As a nation of laws. Isn’t that the whole idea of this wacky constitutional republic? We’re all equal and justice is blind. I thought that was what we were supposed to be doing.
Now, let’s take a quick look around the internet. Things aren’t all sunshine a rainbows. Maybe that’s good.
