This takes monetization to a whole new level. If you want to see extended footage of GTA 6, you can do it on August 27th… on Netflix. Yes, you read that correctly. Maybe this is Rockstar’s way of getting the consumer in the mental frame of mind to pay to subscribe to everything. Over here? It just looks tacky as all hell. For real. This isn’t a good look for anyone involved.
Reportedly, Netflix is paying Rockstar for the rights to show the GTA 6 footage. Rockstar is taking the money. I hope they are doing okay financially (he said, sarcastically).
