Right now, as we all go about our day, trying to earn enough money to make ends meet, the brainiacs are arguing about $20 dollar burritos. More specifically, why is your burrito $20 dollars.
It’s not the worst argument in the world to have really. Everyone has enough room to be ‘correct’. Yes, inflation and spending are out of control. And yes, if you’re struggling financially, you probably shouldn’t be dining on a $20 dollar burrito. Also, wealthy people who are claiming they can feed their entire family burrito for $20 dollars are almost certainly full of shit.
Reminder: The $20 dollar burrito is just an example of inflation and how much the cost of EVERYTHING has gone up. We’re not looking for recipes for Mexican food. It’s just an example.
This is what I’m saying. Yes, it’s a good burrito meme and it makes a great point, but less burrito is needed and more spending cuts. Thank you.
But here is the harsh reality. Socialists are offering ‘Free’ (taxpayer funded) stuff and the conservatives are offering nothing. They have no policy to lower taxes, no plan to lower costs, they just tell you to learn how to cook cheaper burritos at home. That’s not going to win the hearts and minds of angry, hardworking people. Just saying,
Stop. Spending and wasting all of our money. They waste and spend far too much. It’s out of control. Do you want some social programs to be taxpayer funded? We could discuss that. I imagine we would have some extra cash if we really tried.
A $20 burrito! Holy smokes. It definitely was not from Taco Bell where you’ve dined al natural according to that insanely hilarious Gutfeld! naked dining segment. Using it as an example of what inflation has done to our economy and finances has opened the flood gates of opinions. Yep,if your struggling financially you shouldn’t be buying a $20 burrito. That’s common sense. These are the folks that end up on Caleb Hammer’s Financial Audit show, and we find they have a huge love affair with Uber Eats and Door Dash ,and are also financing their food through them. Sounds like our government. The GOP has been MIA and has offered nothing in the form of policies to lower prices or taxes to its overtaxed and frustrated voters. Charlie Kirk said a week for before he died that if the GOP didn’t show young adults and college students that they had a plan to a more affordable future,they would lose an entire generation of voters. The GOP have blown it big time and will pay the price in November. Democratic socialists are using this very issue as a way to take over the Democratic Party and power in DC. We are in truly dangerous times.
Am in total agreement with you and Charlie on this one. And I can’t believe the GOP is being this blind to it. Crazy times indeed. And if U see more ‘how to make a cheap burrito recipe’ I’m gonna flip out. LOL! It’s the whole economy. Not just the burritos!
