That was fast. The Green Lantern show just premiered the other night and we’re already throwing in the towel. Here’s writer, comedian and part-time guitarist Michael Loftus with a review of the show. (It’s worth noting that the “writer” part of this is important) In this video we’ll go over what went wrong with Lanterns on HBO. Will there be spoilers? Oh, most certainly. We’re calling these idiots out. There will be spoilers. You’ll be fine though. As for the show? And the DCU? Yikes. Lanterns is over for me. I’m done. I’m out.

I am a big Green Latern fan like you,so I was so was so stoked for this show. Kyle Chander playing Hal Jordan was a bonus,until the end. WHY??? Why would they do that? It completely destroyed it and I’m done. At this point,I think we need to start a support group for the fans of every superhero character and sci -fi franchise that has been ruined by Hollywood’s clueless studios and writers. Your video was cathartic for all of us who are getting more and more frustrated by the unraveling of our favorite superheroes. A great video.
