There will never be another Dolly Parton. Singer. Songwriter. Fashion icon. Producer. Model. Actress. Too many credits to list.
Dolly Parton has passed away at 80, and left behind a universally loved legacy from people of all ages, and walks of life.
Tonight the Empire State Building will shine with Dolly’s style at 9:25 p.m. among other tributes to this music legend, but really, the best way to say “Goodbye,” until we meet again in the other side, is with her music.
Rest in Peace, sweet Dolly.

Lisa, What a lovely tribute to my Country Goddess,Dolly Parton. I adored her and got to see her in all of her rhinestone glory with one of her hair closer to Jesus wigs,and her infectious personality that just took over the entire arena. She had the voice of an angel and was as kind and generous as she was down to earth. Her Imagination Land Book Club inspired me to donate children’s books to our local library,church nursery schools and other kid’s programs. She was a true gift to the world and her legacy will live on in her music,movies and charities. We will miss you Dolly 🦋
That Dolly was really something else. And there’s still things we’re finding out about. Her helping people out. Quiet stuff you never even hear about till now. Amazing lady
