Well, I thought I’d chime in on the whole Jelly Roll controversy. The rapper or country music star somehow got a gig hosting the Jimmy Kimmel show and fucked up, bit time. Now he’s learning a valuable lesson about Hollywood and here it is: You’re all alone. It’s just you. The people who you thought were your buddies? They’re gone and now it’s just you. The buck stops with you.

Jelly Roll hosted the Kimmel show, said some mean shit and I’m sure the writers and producers said it would all be taken as a joke and blah, blah, blah. But not Jelly Roll is all by himself and those same writers and producers have moved on the next host. The end. They don’t live with the consequences. Jelly Roll does.

Hollywood isn’t even like jail. In jail you will see the people who backstabbed you the next day. No one is going anywhere. It’s jail. Hollywood is very different. They will just never see you again after your latest bomb. You’re just a person who doesn’t matter. Now it’s time to move on the next person who can benefit them. That’s the harsh reality. You can cry. You can stomp your feet and yell, but at the end of the day? It’s all on you. Just you. Jelly Roll can have whatever political opinion he wants. He’s the guy that has to live with what he says though.
