Wow! This is an eye-opener. The House just voted to condemn and denounce socialism and only 8 Dems voted with the anti-socialism side. What the what? The final vote was 220 to 192 with 2 Dems voting ‘present’. Okay… whatever. Now some might call this vote just a PR stunt before the midterms. Fine. Some might say that the vote is meaningless. Okay, so why not vote to denounce socialism then? Just say the words and cast a vote against socialism?
There’s only a couple of reasons not to vote against socialism. One? You’re into it. You like it! And two, you think you have so many socialists in your precinct that it will hurt your chance to get re-elected if you say you don’t like socialism. Yikes.
Either way you slice it, this ‘meaningless’ vote just got a whole lot more meaningful. This just became a little more serious. How many socialists do we have in DC? And just how many straight up pro-socialist voters are out there? Everybody take note of this vote. This just kinda got important.
