What a weekend for music. Things were all over the board. My social media feed is quite the menagerie of insanity. And not all of it was equal. Let me catch you up. Evidently the Video Music Awards are still a thing. The VMA’s. I legit thought that show went the way of the buffalo and MTV. But they’re still handing out trophies and broadcasting a show. Who knew?
So, here’s the clip that really blew me away. We’ll get to the butt lasers in just a moment. Settle down. Here’s Yung Lean in a live version of his music video that many thought was AI. The dude did it live and it’s that much more impressive. This shit is iconic. These guys and the choreography deserve all the accolades.
Now we can talk about Madonna and the butt lasers. Okay. I think we can all agree that Madonna is very good at making herself the center of attention. She’s done it again with her performance that featured dancers and butt lasers. That’s right, dancers with laser shooting out if their butts. Not sure what Madge has planned for next year but think we all can agree we didn’t have butt lasers on our bingo cards.
The person who posted this on X, did so without the sound. Which is hilarious to me. Does the song even matter? We’re all talking about the lasers shooting out of butts. The music makes no difference. LOL!
That’s enough of that. I considered posting more of Madonna at the VMA’s but it’s really not worth it. Let’s move on to more interesting fare, shall we?
