Oh what a conundrum! The 2% problem. Let’s talk about this one. This is a question posed by the popular streamer, Asongold. Ready? Let’s say you had magic powers and you could either make the top 2% of the population disappear or the bottom 2%, which do you choose? Well, for writer, comedian and part-time guitarist Michael Loftus the answer is easy. This isn’t a hard one to figure out. Let’s discuss though. Let’s look into: The 2% problem.

This scenario brought up by Asmongold really got people talking. Many tried to turn it into class warfare. Some people tried to turn it into something inhumane thinking he was contemplating getting rid of the old and handicapped which personally I think was an attempt to shut the whole conversation down. But to look at it as the top 2% who build and run everything in our world and if they disappeared it would all fall apart to the bottom 2% who commit crime and add nothing our society. It’s no contest. Look at South Africa. The top 2% of people that built and maintained the infrastructure and farms were chased out by the bottom 2%, that’s a fact. Now the electricity,water and sewage systems are collapsing. Farms aren’t producing. It’s a lesson that if you turn on the wrong people, there are major consequences. A very interesting topic. It is wild to think about. Kind of a conversation starter if you will. I’m kinda wondering what are the qualifications for the 2%? HA! on both ends of the spectrum.
