Wow. The entire Portland PD riot squad just voted to resign. They out. They quit. Can you blame them? One of their fellow officers was just charged with hitting a photographer. Looks like that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

How long has the Portland riot squad been at it? How many nights have they been called into action in the last year? It seems that Portland has gone off the rails completely now. Rioting is commonplace. People get arrested and then released, only to come back and riot again the next night. It feels like more of a game at this point.
Maybe the riot squad doesn’t want to play anymore. Can you blame them?
